If this technology were work itself into laptop batteries you could pull an all nighter and not have to plug in. Not that you’d want to.
Battery advances are coming fast and furious these days. IDG News Service reports that “Battery-making start-up Boston-Power is more than tripling production of its Sonata laptop battery, a device that offers faster charging and longer life than conventional lithium-ion batteries.” Read the rest here .
Stanford University researchers are also promising up to 40 hours between notebook recharging using new battery technology hatching from its labs .
