Cisco jamming at the SanFran MusicTech Summit

Cisco is among the super hip set that will be attending the “SanFran MusicTech Summit” in the city by the Bay on Feb. 25.

The organizers say the summit “will bring together the best and brightest developers in the Music/Technology Space, along with the musicians, entrepreneurial business people, and organizations who work with them at the convergence of culture and commerce. We will meet to discuss the evolving music/business/technology ecosystem in a proactive, conducive to dealmaking environment.” Cisco execs will be rubbing shoulders with execs from Google, Microsoft, NPR, the American Federation of Musicians, The Village Voice, and iMeem. So what’s Cisco’s interest in this get together? Might we expect some music element to EOS, the multimedia content delivery system that Cisco folks in SF are currently working on?
