Dear Microsoft: Don’t mess with Flickr

If Microsoft’s proposed acquisition of Yahoo ends up happening (and I think it will) I hope that it will leave Flickr alone and let it continue to thrive on its own. Don’t try to make the experience Vista-like. Don’t layer on all kinds of stuff we don’t want or need. Other than Yahoo consolidating the Flickr logins with its own, you’d never know Yahoo owned the company. I hope Microsoft does the same.
