I made a prediction that low-end Network Attached Storage devices would drop to about a dollar per Gigabyte this year. They haven’t yet, but I read the Fry’s newspaper insert this morning (for the Dallas area), and they advertise two different external hard drives at the dollar per GB price range. I believe my prediction is still on target.
