Cheeky Microsoft

Perhaps we should redefine “chutzpah” from the boy who kills his parents, then begs the court for leniency because he’s an orphan. Perhaps our new definition should be: Microsoft.

Scanning a tabloid mag aimed at the world of IT in our government, I found a full page ad touting Microsoft’s wonderful support of secure computing and military communications. They reference their site (no link from me, Bill).

Isn’t this the same Microsoft chastised last week for security so poor several government agencies made a flat recommendation to stop using Internet Explorer?

Perhaps Microsoft keeps IE out of their military products. That would be nice.
