Cheeky Microsoft

Perhaps we should redefine “chutzpah” from the boy who kills his parents, then begs the court for leniency because he’s an orphan. Perhaps our new definition should be: Microsoft.

Scanning a tabloid mag aimed at the world of IT in our government, I found a full page ad touting Microsoft’s wonderful support of secure computing and military communications. They reference their microsoft.com/homeland site (no link from me, Bill).

Isn’t this the same Microsoft chastised last week for security so poor several government agencies made a flat recommendation to stop using Internet Explorer?

Perhaps Microsoft keeps IE out of their military products. That would be nice.
