Merit celebrating 40 years network research in education

Merit Network (http://merit.edu/40/), Michigan’s research and education network, celebrates its 40 years in existence on Nov. 16 with a symposium and gala reception. Merit was formed to provide computer sharing between Michigan State University, the University of Michigan and Wayne State University, though has expanded to include many other colleges and schools.
