Cisco is jumping on the Second Life bandwagon and is co-hosting with the Santa Fe Institute an all-day “unconference” on Feb. 20 in the virtual world and at the bricks-and-mortar Santa Clara Techmart. News@Cisco staff writer, David Barry blogs: “This event is a marriage of how the real world is being influenced by online, virtual worlds and how the economies of both are influencing decisions.” Cisco is the latest vendor to experiment with Second Life, following trips to the virtual world by Sun and IBM.
