Microsoft tweaks update and support policies

Mary Jo Foley at ZDNet is reporting that Microsoft is moving more of its security fixes and updates under Microsoft Update. Microsoft is also tweaking its product-support policies in which minor product releases will be supported under the same terms as the major product which precedes them.
