“We need to work out a plan,” says my thinly stretched editor as she’s about to board a plane for Taiwan days before Christmas. Of course, we don’t start working out the plan until she returns, unscathed by the tsunami from which she happened to be far away.

The story is for Network Life’s March 28 issue, which has a security focus. The feature I’m writing she and I loosely call “home network security 101.” a comprehensive guide. what are the threats, what are the solutions, what do you and don’t you need, what works, what doesn’t, etc. you get the idea.
