Among the many new releases this week at Macworld by Apple is Final Cut Express, a DV-specific video editing package that sells for only $299. Based on the company’s popular Final Cut Pro, the Express version can be used edit, transition and add audio tracks to your home videos. Where Final Cut Pro allows you to import and export to multiple video media formats, it’s $999 price is not ideal for the typical home user. Express gives the budding Spielberg a nice tool at a pretty good price.
