Video enthusiasts will soon have another low-cost entry on the market for editing videos on the home PC: Ulead VideoStudio 7. The $99.95 program, due out later this month, looks to come with an impressive number of features for the price, including the ability to do real-time playback on a second screen using the host PC’s display card. Ulead also takes advantage of Intel’s Hyper-Threading technology that’s part of most Pentium 4 processors to help speed processing of video effects and transitions. I haven’t taken a look at the product myself, but it seems like a worthy tool for $100.
