Forgot to mention this one yesterday, but Radvision announced a new gateway product that will allow video-enabled phones on a 3G network to connect to traditional IP videoconference calls. The ViaIP GW-P20/M Gateway transcodes between 3G’s 3G-324M multimedia standard and H.323 used in IP video. The company is initially targeting overseas vendors where 3G is more prevalent.
