Well, it’s not buying a music company, but Apple has launched a much anticipated music service that will allow iTunes and iPod users to buy and download songs for $0.99 a piece. The online store contains some 200,000 songs for you listening pleasure. Are 99-cent songs that are easily downloadable and transferred to a handheld (if you’ve got a Mac) enough to convince users to go legitimate? Time will tell.

Have you used the new service? Let me know by either leaving a comment or sending me e-mail.
