DPChallenge is a revolving digital photography contest. Different subjects are posted each week. Take a photo of the subject, submit it, and hope other members (basic membership is free) like your composition and vote for it. Even if you don’t want to get in on the competition the site has a lot to offer, including a “How’d they do that?” section.
