TechSmith has released version 1.1 of its Camtasia Studio application for capturing screen activity on a Windows machine and turning it into a Flash presentation. This latest version adds theater and converter functionality to the previous 1.0 release. The theater function displays a Web-based menu of Flash movies available to the user either online or via CD. Converter allows video clips of a presenter to be encoded into AVI files for incorporation into a Camtasia project. Camtasia Studio 1.1 is available for Windows XP, ME, 98, 2000 and NT with a price tag of $349. Users have to download the Theater and Converter functionality separately.
