Starbak Communications has added support for the Windows Media 9 Series format to its Torrent VCG and OSA product lines. The VCG (reviewed here) converts a H.323 videoconference call into streaming media so others can view and listen in on the call. Torrent OSA is an origin server for delivering live and on-demand streaming media. Both devices can encode to Windows Media, Real and QuickTime formats.
