The licensing saga that had some non-profit Internet radio Webcasters running for cover has been resolved. Under a deal reached by the RIAA and universities, college radio stations that Webcast their signals only have to pay a flat fee of $250 per year. Other non-profits will pay up to $400 per year. Original licensing terms had most broadcasters paying around one penny per hour per listener, which could have been costly.
