CyberLink has added a number of features to version 2.0 of its consumer-oriented video editing software, PowerProducer. Included in the new feature list is the ability to transfer digital video straight from a camcorder into DVD movies on a hard disk as well as the ability to import video from a variety of DVD formats. PowerProducer 2.0 also features a number of still photo utilities, including the ability to acquire images directly from a digital camera. This latest version of PowerProducer is now available for download for $49.95. Version 1.0 users can get an upgrade for only $29.95.
