The source code for SMIL 2.0 (Synchronized Multimedia Integration Language) is now available to members of RealNetworks’ Helix Community. SMIL is relatively simple coding language used to pull various pieces of media together into a cohesive presentation. We use SMIL here for the Real version of our primers. Helix Community members can use the code at no-cost for in their own open-source applications or under a royalty agreement in commercial applications.
