Macromedia’s online presentation offering now has a live component, allowing users to conduct Webconferencing meetings from their desktop using a combination of PowerPoint, audio and video. Breeze adds a plug-in to PowerPoint to make it easier to “export” slides for use on the Web. All that is needed on the viewer machine is Flash. The Breeze Live component will be available in late August as a hosted or licensed product. Pricing for Breeze ranges from $20,000 to $200,000 depending on configuration.
