New Windows fun packs

Microsoft’s getting into the holiday spirit with the release of three new Fun Packs for Windows XP. There’s a fun pack for Windows Media Player that includes holiday themed skins and playlists as well as enhanced functionality for exporting playlists into multiple formats. The Windows Media Maker 2 Fun Pack offers new “wintry” effects like snow burst transitions and royalty-free “Winter Music and Sound Effects.” Finally, the Windows XP Digital Photography Winter Fun Pack offers holiday and winter-themed greeting card templates and photo filters.Those downloading also get a lite edition of Photo Story 2. Best of all, the Fun Packs are free.
