The music download business continues to get crowded. Virgin says it will join the fray this summer with a new service based on MusicNet and Windows Media. Customers will be able to subscribe to a streaming service and buy individual songs. Not sure if any Windows Media-compliant device will be able to play the downloaded songs or if you’ll need a special Virgin-only device. Virgin says it hopes to have some 700,000 titles when it opens.
