Like scoreboard watching in sports, the big three streaming media companies (Apple, Microsoft and RealNetworks) like to keep track of who is ahead of the game and who’s falling off the pace. Apple’s recent announcement of 250 million QuickTime 6 downloads also trumpeted some numbers from Frost & Sullivan that showed QuickTime in a strong position relative to the other two.
