Telestream will early next month start shipping Flip4Mac, a tool for importing and exporting Windows Media files on a Macintosh with any QuickTime-based application. For instance, FinalCut Pro users will be able to directly create Windows Media 7, 8 or 9 files without having to send the raw video to a PC for encoding. A standard version of Flip4Mac will be priced at $99 and High Definition Pro edition will be $179.
