Limelight adds Flash streaming

Limelight Networks has joined the ranks of content delivery networks offering to serve the Flash video format for customers. Of course, the company’s press release claims they’re the first, which is true if you don’t count Vital Stream, Speedera/Akamai and Mirror Image. The news does illustrate Flash’s growing popularity as a video playback format for the Web.
