Handy Flash video player

One problem with Flash video (flv) is there is no native player for viewing your videos after they’ve been created. Martijn de Visser has come to the rescue with this handy player utility. Just drag the FLV into the player and away you go. Once playing the main window displays the resolution and data rates (both for the video and audio). There’s also an ‘info’ button that brings up more information like length in milliseconds. The length is very handy since our content management system requires us to enter the video length in seconds – it’s far easier to move the decimal three places than to do the 60 seconds to a minute math. Best of all, it’s free.
