Koohl Toilet might even be cooler than the latest Mac or iPhone
endif; ?>SNL over the weekend took advantage of super cool guest host Benedict Cumberbatch to star in a spoof ad about the next great toilet that’s based on Apple’s famous 1984 Macintosh computer commercial.
Why exactly SNL decided to reach back for this classic commercial as inspiration for fresh fun poking at Apple isn’t clear, but maybe put someone there over the edge. See the original ad and the SNL spoof below.

Of course SNL is far from the first to parody the Apple ad — even Ben & Jerry’s ice cream took its turn doing so last year.
Apple itself followed up the 1984 ad in 1985, and internally, spoofed the original with Steve Jobs playing FDR in it.
