Industrial AI specialist Grector has become sole distributor for KT’s G-Cloud Service for the government and public sector.

To serve the domestic public cloud market, which is expected to be worth 3 trillion won (US$2.5 billion) this year, Grector is focusing on selling KT G-Cloud Service through the NIA digital service support system and the Public Procurement Service’s digital service mall, with the SaaS business linking G-Cloud with the Grector Smart City Solution based on the intelligent IoT platform is also planned.

KT says it is the first public cloud company to obtain the CSAP cloud security certification in Korea. Among public institutions that have adopted the cloud such as public corporations, 70% use the KT G-Cloud service.

Grector recently registered Grector KT G-Cloud service in the Digital Service Use Support System and the Public Procurement Service’s Digital Service Mall IaaS product line, omitting complicated procurement procedures for organisations and introducing G-Cloud through a private contract.

The Digital Service Use Support System is a contract system introduced by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Strategy and Finance, and the Public Procurement Service in 2020. An organisation can directly contract the digital service it needs through the NIA digital service support system or the Public Procurement Service’s digital service mall.
