Sean Cassidy

Sean Cassidy is an engineer and leader who builds the right products the right way. Sean is the CTO of DefenseStorm, which acts as a control tower so banks and credit unions can manage detection, investigation, reporting and compliance holistically. When he's not knee-deep thinking of cool stuff to add to his product, he enjoys discussing security at various industry conferences.

Before joining DefenseStorm, Sean worked at Limelight Networks, building their video transcoding system and at Cisco Systems, working on their ASA firewall.

Sean received his master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology. He is the author of numerous open source projects and has been involved in the information security community for over a decade. He also writes a blog about programming and startups.
