Insight Enterprises expanded its InsightCloud Solutions Center portfolio with the addition of cloud communications solutions from 8×8. The InsightCloud Solutions Center aggregates 8×8 business VoIP and cloud-based services and provides a single client portal for ongoing management of subscriptions, features and requirements. Insight has sold more than 3 million business and public sector client cloud seats across the globe.
Commenting on the channel partnership, Bill McCarthy, Insight senior vice president, cloud solutions, said, “With a comprehensive suite of unified communications services, years of strong customer growth and top rankings from analyst firms such as Frost & Sullivan, Gartner and Infonetics Research, 8×8 is a valuable addition to our cloud solutions portfolio.”

When we caught up with 8×8 CEO Bryan R. Martin, he noted that while most of his company’s sales are direct, but Insight is one of his 8×8’s largest partners and he is excited about the brand they offer.
Martin also shared the latest 8×8 results for the quarter ended in March 2013, touting the company’s 32% year-over-year revenue growth. 8×8 currently serves over 32,000 business customers, and the average number of services per customer has also steadily grown.
In 2012, 8×8 was named a market “leader” in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for unified communications as a service (UCaaS) in North America and was recognized as the No. 1 Provider of Hosted IP Telephony by Frost & Sullivan and Synergy Research Group.
