The last Harry Potter movie is opening this week, to spectacular reviews as collected at RottenTomatoes. That may be good news for those of you who are Death Eaters, but it’s bad news for the rest of us, including those who, literally, grew up with the actors over 10 years of movies, many of them camping out last week in Trafalgar Square for the London preview of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2.”

So, our small contribution to popular culture and St. Harry is our 2007 read, “Trials of the Hogwarts IT director” as outlined in J.W. Coxrid’s resignation memo to Headmaster Albus Dumbledore.

And for some clues as to who this mysterious muggle boffin was, check out the companion piece, “Hogwarts’ ill-fated IT guy: Who was J.W. Coxrid?”

And thanks to J.K. Rowling, for a great decade…pop-culture-wise.
