I got a good number of calls regarding my recent post on how advances in retail storefront operations will derive directly from corresponding advances in in-building wireless LANs and IT systems designed for branch-centric enterprises. So I’m pleased that I’ve been invited to speak in an upcoming Webinar on this very subject, hosted by Chain Store Age Magazine. I’ll review the advances in wireless LANs and the consolidation of IT functionality that are essential to storefront retail remaining competitive overall, and especially how software is key to both customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Nikki Baird, Managing Partner with Retail Systems Research will also speak and share the results of recent surveys that her firm has conducted.
