A conversation with the two open source project creators
Just a quick heads up that I had chance to chat with the founders of the two open source projects that won the Magnificent 7 awards from Rapid 7. You can listen to our conversation over on my Open Network podcast here on Network World. I wrote about the Magnificent 7 awards last week.
I sat down with Claudio Guarnieri from Cuckoo Sandbox and Anthony Desnos from Androguard to talk about their malware analysis tools, as well as their connection to the Google Summer of Code (SOC) project. They also chat about what they will do with the cash award and what they have planned for the future.
It is only about 15 minutes long and a great chance to hear what, how and why these two founders created their open source security projects.
