I am a huge fan of desktop virtualization as a strategy for mobility - and beyond. I’ll expand on the value of this strategy to the financial community in a Webinar in July.
I was on the road last week, and one of those days was spent with a few CIOs from very large firms talking about mobile devices, BYOD, mobility management, and 802.11ac. I like to illustrate my remarks in these sessions with examples of how one or more elements of mobility might be used to augment or even fundamentally alter, for the better, of course, how a particular market or industry works. I’ve covered education, retail, and hospitality in detail in the past, and now it’s time to turn my attention to financial services.
