A small revision to our recent White Paper on these topics, along with a new Farpoint Focus video as well.
I recently had the opportunity to sit down with two key managers at HP, Rob Fowler and Kevin Secino, to learn more about what HP is doing in unified networking and software- defined networking. I didn’t know, for example, that HP’s IMC unified management console now supports products from over 200 vendors, and that HP now has over 40 SDN-based products. But I did after I sat down in the studio with both of these industry veterans, with a conversation so interesting that the subsequent interviews make up most of our latest Farpoint Focus video on these topics. We also visited HP’s facility in Boxboro, MA, to see their products in action, and we got a look at the new WLAN controller that plugs into the 7500/10500 series of switches. All of this is in the video.
