And a video that’s worth watching
Regular readers may know that I have 12-year-old triplets: Max, Emma and Grant. Max, in addition to being smart, funny, kind and a bit of a cut-up, is also autistic. That means Emma and Grant also live with autism every day … and they do it with an abundance of love and maturity that words cannot begin to describe.
In advance of today’s World Autism Awareness Day, Emma and Grant organized a bracelet giveaway at their school (Emma’s idea) and made loudspeaker announcements encouraging their schoolmates to wear supportive blue. Also, Max’s teacher found this wonderful video, which the students will be watching today and I highly recommend for anyone looking to better understand autism.
