Whether you think Apple’s FaceTime feature is revoultionary or merely a gimmick, there’s no denying that Apple holds the technology in high regard and is doing all it can to roll it out across all its devices. Not only did Apple enable the feature on the most recent iteration of the iPod Touch (where users can face chat using a free Apple email address), but Apple also placed the FaceTime icon in the top left corner of the homescreen. In short, Apple is looking to make FaceTime a defacto, and open, mobile video chatting standard. There have even been rumors that an upcoming update to iChat will allow desktop users to video chat with iPhone 4 and iPod Touch users.

So yes, FaceTime is Apple’s little baby, and indeed, nearly all of the advertisements for the iPhone 4 focuse exclusively on FaceTime. Over the past few weeks, Apple has rolled out a number of FaceTime commercials in the US that are quite poignant. Interestingly enough, Apple’s FaceTime commercials in Europe follow the same mold, but don’t feature any dialogue. The emotinal resopnse, however, remains the same. Again, the following four  were aired exclusively in Europe, so don’t expect to see them on the tube any time soon, or ever for that matter. Unless, of course, you know, you live there.

This ad is titled “Wedding Dress”

And here we have “Mum’s Birthday”
Next up is “Play”
And finally we have “Soccer Team”
