HP-Cisco data center clash in the works

HP ProCurve is unveiling its first switches specifically for data centers, plus a server module for switches that brings switching and application processing into the same box. Cisco is also moving aggressively into this area, so it ought to be quite a showdown. Oh, and don’t forget Brocade.
