In his last outing as FCC chairman, Michael Powell at VON Spring 2005 Wednesday urged equipment vendors and service providers to keep pressing for regulatory changes to help drive competition in the VoIP world. One service provider at the show said some of the rules for the VoIP industry were still fuzzy and that Powell, who leaves his post at the end of the month, should himself press for certain decisions to be made before he vacates his chair.
