Qwest increases offer for MCI to $8.9 billion
How much is MCI worth, really? I mean, come on. Qwest yesterday raised its offer to nearly $9 billion, increasing its margin over Verizon’s offer of $7.6 billion. MCI had accepted Verizon’s offer a couple days ago, but Qwest seems determined to drag out this fight.
