TechMentor NYC: An experience I’ll never forget

I wanted to fill everyone in on how TechMentor NYC went. I was supposed to co-present the Unified Messaging talk with J. Peter Bruzzese. Peter took sick on the way up to NYC and ended up in the hospital. Peter is okay! Thankfully and he gets out today. In the midst of all this happening Peter asks me to go and do all his sessions. They were four sessions on Exchange Server 2007.

• Managing Exchange 2007 with Exchange Management Shell (Powershell)
• Unified Messaging in Exchange 2007

Needless to say I spent plenty of time with Exchange Server 2007 since it has been in beta. Nevertheless, I had just 1 day to prepare and I never saw the slides. The sessions went great the attendees were more than accommodating considering they were expecting Peter and not me. If any are reading this blog post today I want to thank you again for making me feel welcome. The TechMentor team did everything and anything to make me comfortable and see to it that I would be prepared for each session. I have to say I have been speaking at conferences that I was signed up for months in advance and had been treated as good. So I want to thank Greg and Toby and everyone else from the TechMentor NYC team. TechMentor NYC will be an experience I never forget, I hope to share with you some of the great stuff I heard over the next few weeks. I am working on more tool posts, and I will back later today with a post for you on some of the tools I had a chance to hear about at TechMentor.
