Avaya, the one who when private recently, has released a small SIP product for SMB, just like the Nortel SCS announced.
With an eye towards helping small business become more efficient, Avaya has announced an upgrade to their Avaya Quick Edition product line. Quick Edition is a session initiation protocol (SIP)-based peer to peer telephony solution, based on a solution Avaya acquired when it purchased Nimcat Networks in the fall of 2005. The new version, release 3.1 of Quick Edition, offers additional software designed to deliver several new features as well as a pair of new hardware components designed to enhance customer service, reduce expenses and simplify maintenance and administration of the system.
There are now no shortage of SIP based SMB solutions with a ton of features. My pick is still the Nortel SCS product. It is well packaged. You can read more here.
