Yes, it’s true. Time Magazine has named Apple’s iPhone the “Invention of the Year,” overlooking all sorts of other cool stuff, such as all of these real-life Star Trek-inspired inventions. Time‘s article acknowledges that there may be many reasons to detract from the iPhone (including the fact that you’re probably sick of hearing about it; no mention of the fact that the iPhone is toxic). But there’s no getting around Time‘s number-one reason for naming it the best: 1. The iPhone is pretty Well, yes. And the end result was certainly better than just about everything that Internet photoshoppers had dreamed up. So, what will be Time‘s winner next year? The GPhone?
