Having exhausted the United Arab Emirates, Cisco CEO John Chambers is headed to Israel next week, and one investor is already calling out for Cisco to pitch in and buy local company Radvision. Radvision makes IP multipoint conference units and gateway products and competes with the likes of Polycom. It recently announced audio and video-conferencing add-ons to IBM Lotus Sametime unified communications system. Aaron Katsman, writes in the Israel Opportunity Investor: “Radvision and their video-conferencing technology have done nothing but disappoint investors for years. Doing much of their business with Cisco, and with Chambers known affinity with video-conferencing, investors have been waiting for the headlines to scream ‘Cisco to buy Radvision.’ Well John, there is no better time than the present!”
