Argonne National Lab, a division of the Department of Energy operated out of the University of Chicago, is spearheading an effort to collect information about cyber security events.
Called The Federated Model, the initiative allows member organizations to share info regarding attempts by different IP address to access networks and how organizations have responsed to these attempts.
