… Adobe Systems for its Flash video technology. [Cue music] Adobe grabbing a Technical and Engineering Emmy Award for Flash shows how far its come in the past few years. The discussion used to be: Real, Windows and sometimes Quicktime (note: they too were awarded Emmys). Flash wasn’t even on the radar. Now, it seems as Flash is the dominate Web player (see YouTube and MySpace) and QuickTime is number two because of iTunes. The Emmy is nice props for the team at Adobe (and the old Macromedia team).
