Microsoft’s licensing rules for Vista makes it less attractive for Mac usesr to skip across to the Vista side, reports the Associated Press. Some Apple users may want to use Vista in a virtualized environment but the licensing rules prevent these users from buying the least expensive versions of Vista – the $199 Home Basic edition and the $239 Home Premium edition.
Microsoft says the reason is security – poppycock.
