Cisco is commanding more of Brocade’s storage-area network switch territory, reports Searchstorage.com. According to the article, a recent Dell’Oro report finds that Cisco earned $129 million in worldwide revenue for SAN switches in Q4 2006, increasing its percentage points in director market share by 6, and 4 percentage points in the overall SAN switch market, from the previous quarter. Meanwhile McData went from $96.9 million to $90 million losing 6 points of share from the third quarter to the fourth quarter.
