Comcast invests in Cisco competitor

With the eye-catching headline “Comcast money helps open source scare Cisco” Dana Blankenhorn in ZDNet is blogging that Comcast has invested in Vyatta, maker of the open source router that is already usurping Cisco in some accounts. Comcast made the $11 million Series B injection along with all of Vyatta’s existing investors, according to Vyatta’s press release.
