Microsoft is planning to open a multimillion-dollar R&D center in Beijing, China with that country’s computer maker Lenovo, reports the AFP news agency.
The center will be located at Lenovo’s existing research base in the city and it will be used to identify opportunities in the consumer and mobile markets, such as digital photography, digital media and the Internet, according to the report.
